Hong Kong Geography Day (HKGD) is the most important event of the geography education and research community in Hong Kong. It is held every other year and hosted on rotation by the three geography departments of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Hong Kong University. This biennial event aims to foster academic exchange and collaboration between geography-related faculty members and postgraduate students, and to promote geography education in secondary schools.
