香港代表隊在2025年國際地理奧林匹克獲銅獎

香港地理學會於2025年7月26日至8月1日帶領香港代表隊參加在泰國曼谷舉行的第21屆「國際地理奧林匹克」。本屆比賽吸引了來自46個國家的精英參賽。在2025年7月27日，泰國詩琳通公主（Maha Chakri Sirindhorn）親切地主持了在朱拉隆功大學（Chulalongkorn University）禮堂舉行的第21屆國際地理奧林匹克（iGeo 2025）開幕式。賽事旨在評估各國參賽者的自然與人文地理知識、地圖解釋及考察技能。

香港地理學會自2010年起參賽，多次取得佳績，致力推動地理教育及研究。學會每年舉辦「香港地理奧林匹克」，選拔及培訓代表隊。香港代表隊由應昊志（英華書院）、張慶煌（皇仁書院）、陳朗裕（聖言中學）及彭晴煒（新界鄉議局元朗區中學）組成，這四位同學是從500多名地理學生中選出的。「國際地理奧林匹克」比賽於8月1日結束，英華書院的應昊志表現優異，為香港隊奪得一面銅牌。

應同學分享他的經歷，通過一系列的測試和實地考察練習，他加深了對世界的理解，學會了用「地理眼看世界」，地理不僅僅是地圖和地名，它涉及到人類與環境之間的互動、文化的多樣性、資源的分布以及全球化的影響。

自然連結感與環境教育國際會議 – 戶外學習促進福祉及可持續發展｜現已開放報名

由香港戶外生態教育協會主辦的「自然連結感與環境教育國際會議－戶外學習促進福祉及可持續發展」現已接受公眾報名，國際會議將於 2025 年 10 月 3 至 4 日舉行。

本會議總結「Nurture Via Nature: 香港學童自然連結感研究及戶外環境教育推廣計劃」的豐碩成果，亦是香港首個以自然連結感與環境教育為主題的大型國際會議。匯聚世界各地超過15位來自不同地方專家講者，聯同超過 40 個專業機構鼎力支持，會議將集結約 400 位與會者，在4個主題演講、3場不同主題的小組分享會以及20個室內和戶外工作坊中，體驗以理論與實務並重的方式，構建交流平台，共同探索以自然為本教育的未來方向，從而推動自然連結感和戶外環境教育的主流化，為促進社會福祉及可持續發展開拓更多可能。
