On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Geographical Association, I am writing with great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Hong Kong Geographical Association.

The AGM will be held in mixed mode, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on 21 June 2025 (Saturday) at AAB 206, 2/F, Academic and Administration Building, Hong Kong Baptist University, 15 Baptist University Road, Kowloon Tong. The seminar by Dr. Xoni Ma, entitled “地理的情與理 — 地理科作為實現可持續發展的關鍵角色”, will start at 2:00 p.m.

The programme of the event on 21 June 2025 is as follows:

The proposed agenda items of the 2025 AGM are:

1. To receive the minutes of the 2024 AGM.
2. To receive the Chair’s report.
3. To receive the Honorary Treasurer’s report.
4. To receive the respective Sub-committees’ reports.
5. To propose and endorse the amendments to the Constitution (Proposed amendments are attached).
6. Election of EXCO members and key post holders 2025-2027.
7. A.O.B.
